Special permit from DSB

Handling industrial batteries presents specific challenges — many of the batteries on the market today have shapes or sizes that make it impossible to use standard safety containers (ASP containers). For this reason, Sortbat has obtained a special permit from the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB) to transport such batteries, following a strict and secure packaging process with advanced monitoring.

This approval has been granted by Norwegian authorities and therefore only applies within Norway. It ensures that transport, classification, packaging, and labeling are all carried out in compliance with international ADR/UN regulations and the highest safety standards.
