Sortbat was founded in 2010 in Tienen, Belgium. Our first activity focused on sorting batteries collected by Bebat. Since then, we’ve grown into an international company, structured around 4 core business units: Sorting, Precycling, Circular and Consulting.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our expertise and reach through several acquisitions, which have also established our presence in Norway. This makes Sortbat Europe's leading specialist and pioneer in the secure treatment of used batteries.
